Whoof. So.
Shitty week. Classes are going to be okay, I think--Multi-V yesterday reminded me why math used to be one of my favorite subjects, and I've made it to both E&M lectures so far, despite their being ridiculously early.
I'm single once again.
It's making me think a little about belonging and communities and why we need other people. Also that there should be a better way of figuring out who the person you're supposed to stick with is.
I will probably be able to manage just friends at some point, which is nice, I guess. Just... nowhere near right now.
Ellen is almost never here at the same time I am, which is a good quality in a roommate, in my opinion. We'll see if it lasts. My bird is up, and survived its vacation in storage rather well. I still haven't made a mounting for it. I'll get around to it eventually. Also my space poster, and my butterflies. It makes my half of the room very bright. I rather like it, especially in contrast with Ellen's side, which is full of dragons and black sheets.
I don't know if I'm precisely feeling better, but I actually got some stuff done today, including finding a to do list program/web site that I kind of like. The one I'm going with right now is called Remember The Milk, which is a very silly name, but its mascot is a cow, and the interface works well enough. And it claims that it works with Google Calendar, but I haven't tried to get that going yet.
Confirmed today that if I don't pass Hum I this semester I ITR. Fun stuff. Means that if I don't get my first essay done on time I get to drop something, either CS70 or Discrete. We'll see what happens.
