Winter Break in Bullet Points

• 17 hours in airports on Saturday. There were high winds in Dallas, so they were limiting capacity on the plane and offering vouchers. Also it was running late, so I was afraid I wouldn't make the connection. I got a different flight.
  
• As a result, I'm now the possessor of a $400 travel voucher and the ability to say that I spent 14 hours in LAX. It was a pretty boring terminal, actually; I watched a lot of Buffy. Whenever I mention that, people ask me what Buffy is. Please don't ask me what Buffy is.
  
• Slept pretty much all day Sunday, since I got back 11:30ish in the morning. Got very confused as to what day it was -- I was supposed to be home on Saturday! Did some Christmas shopping. Mom got a sweater.
  
• Slept lots of Monday too.
  
• Finished Christmas shopping, sort of -- Dad got cool superhero socks and a Slinky, and Chris got a stuffed animal dog. The only thing he told me he wanted was a puppy, so he got one.
  
• I GOT AN IPOD!! Strictly speaking, it is a Nano, and it is red. Basically the new Nanos are adorable. I named it Daniel.
  
• Subpoint: my people are tricksy. Dad even called Rudy to ask him what color of iPod I would want, and nobody breathed a word to me. Thinking back, I now remember him question dropping that into conversation. I got confused, because that's the sort of question that you ask when you're getting someone an iPod and I knew he wasn't getting me an iPod. Tricksy.
  
• Dad and I own at Trivial Pursuit. We're going to defend our title tonight.
