Today at school was a decent day, even with the standardized testing. Actually, the standardized testing was somewhat amusing. It was the math bit, and I didn't want to clear my calculator, so I didn't use it, and I still ended up finishing before anyone else. Go me. I managed to get into math-mode, even with super easy math, so that was fun. Very soothing. I even had something to do after, since Lauren brought me Abhorsen. It's by Garth Nix, and is a direct sequel to Lirael, and not so direct sequel to Sabriel. I've wanted to read it since I read Lirael, since that book ends with something like "Read the rest of the story in Abhorsen, which is coming out sometime next year." 'Twas extremely irritating.

And English was amusing. Spent the entire time in groups, so there was much talk of various methods of causing pain and removing essential body parts. Or not so essential body parts. *eg* I got my test back, and it was a 50+/50 and can I use it as an example. I jumped up and down a lot.

Then I got home. I got ten minutes of decompression time before Dad came to take me to the DMV. Unfortunately, they weren't accepting any more people for the road test line. It was hot, and I was tired, and I just wanted to go home, but no, we had to go pick up Chrisbro. Bleah. I want to get away from my family for a little while. I love them all dearly, but I don't want to live with people right now.

It's too early for me to be this tired. Sleep...
