May. 3rd, 2003 12:55 amI have a newfound appreciation for Nightcrawler. Dad, Chrisbro and I went to see X2 this evening. It's a pretty good movie. The opening sequence had me grinning--lots of teleportation and a blue guy with a tail kicking butt. No, my like of Nightcrawler has nothing to do with cute actors; the guy is blue for crying out loud. I don't even know who the actor is.
Anywho, good movie. Slightly gruesome fight scene between Wolverine and Deathstrike, some more nasties involving Magneto and iron in the blood, but there's fire. And exploding things. Bonus extra brownie points if anyone knows who Remy LeBeau and Hank McCoy are. And where their names can be found in the movie. I was proud for catching those two--there are probably more. There's one scene that I want to see on DVD, just so I can pause it and see how many names I can identify.
I was going to write something earlier, but it will now be published... later today, I suppose. Or possibly tomorrow.
