It has been far too long since I've been on a playground. Before this afternoon, that is. Going down paths under construction led to a playground, with swings moving in the breeze, and Chris and I both went for them. So we swung, and talked, and then moved on to the springy horses, and using the tube as a seat. It was one of those moments that I wanted to paste in a scrapbook somewhere, or maybe stick in amber, so that I'd have it whenever I wanted it. Perfect weather, and swings, and congenial company. And then the water looking too much like water is supposed to look to be real, and the green glow of the sun through the leaves. I love living so close to Lake Pine.

Blogger didn't want my input in their 15-Minute Survey. Hmmph.
Forwards and chain letters piss me off. I really wish that Ness would stop sending them to me.

Apparently we're going to a different church tomorrow, a Methodist one. My first thought was "yay, a service I haven't memorized." I think that's kind of sad; not that I'm happy about a service I haven't memorized, but that I've memorized the Episcopalian one. More-or-less.

My second thought was of the dress code. I'm not sure if I'm happy about that or not. On the one hand, it's a sign that I really am a girl. On the other hand, what to wear not something I've ever worried about much before this year. Sigh.
