Jan. 2nd, 2006 10:26 pmI have an updating client now. This is exciting. I am not writing this entry in the box on the lj webpage, but rather in the box in Drivel.
At some point, I may even have a music player that does not require me to restart it when I wish to change the playlist. That would be even more exciting. I like Totem, but sometimes Linux is stupid.
I sort of missed the boat on introspective New Year's-y entries. That's okay. Possibly I will introspect anyway. But later.
I actually had People for New Year's, which was rather unexpected and slightly random. Also Mom and Dad got home earlier than expected, so there was family plus Diana and Chris for watching the ball drop, then Diana and Chris until three in the morning. Much fun.
Fabric has been obtained for the skirt in potentia. It's sort of burgundy, which should be nice. The rip in that pair of pants is longer than I remembered, though, so we'll see if it's actually salvageable. If it's not, I'm going to return to Mudd with some fashionable new burgundy pillows.
I still miss Mudd. Three more days until Christine comes--one afternoon (hopefully) to be spent with Maria, one morning to be spent at Sunrise with Mrs. Riese, an air mattress to be retrieved...
Three pairs of pants to be repaired. Hopefully I can manage to keep busy, especially since I have two more library books to read.
