Feb. 15th, 2007 08:37 pmThis song makes me cry every time I listen to it. I have a feeling that if I end up having a wedding reception when I get married (most likely), this will be the father and daughter dance, and I will cry, because that's what it makes me do, every time.
Dad and I sort of have a Paul Simon thing. He's a big fan of Simon & Garfunkel from way back, and Graceland was a staple of household listening from pretty much when it came out. We listened to it all the way up the 1 when we took that road trip from here to San Francisco the summer before senior year, and I still associate that album with watching the ocean out the driver's side window and avoiding fallen rocks.
The DMP application deadline got pushed back two weeks, to March 1. I can breathe.
