Mar. 24th, 2003 07:56 pmI still marvel at how much emotion can fit into simple notes and chords. I mean, songs are just chord progressions. There's nothing major about that (no pun intended). It's what can be created out of those chord progressions that's wonderful indeed. "My Immortal" is definitely on my favorite song list.
It was a bit depressing how easily I sunk back into routine. After nine days, one would expect some difficulty in getting back into it, but no. It was the same. Orchestra sounded slightly more shabby than we usually do, but other than that, life went on as normal. Same attempts to stay awake in GoPo, same Calvin and Hobbes in Calculus, same enduring Chemistry, same sleeping through French, and same laughing and trying not to be noticed in English. Sigh. How many days 'til the next break?
