htothehFor the sake of my sanity, any time I refer to "today," I'm still talking about Thursday. Not Friday, which it apparently is.
So, yeah. Five-day weekend. I remember nothing of what I did yesterday (Wednesday, that is), or very little. I think it may have involved Calculus at some point; in fact I'm fairly sure that it did, as my Calculus homework is done. Funny how that works.
Today was nice. Got up to take Chrisbro to Lucas' house, which is just like driving to school only not. I semi-seriously considered making him give me Starbucks money, but decided against it. Hung around the house for most of the day, doing things like my bloody stupid APES brochure thing. Played with Photoshop for the aforementioned bloody stupid brochure, which wasn't all bad. I think it actually turned out rather nicely.
I actually got some initiative and left the house. Go me. Went to Barnes & Noble, didn't buy anything. The books that I would have wanted weren't out in the cheap paperbacks. Phooey. Didn't think of getting a frappacino, but should have. Went to Subway, took lunch from same to Lake Pine and ate cookies while reading about the industrialization of America. Riveting stuff. Not sure if I'm being entirely sarcastic or not, actually.
The only reason I'm writing is that I feel the need to post something. I know no one cares about the fact that I left the house. I know that I probably won't care in another six months that I left the house. Blogs are impermanent enough that I could actually do something about that today or... later today, or tomorrow. There's probably something to write there about how ephemeral the blogging phenomenon is, but I think if I tried to follow that thread it would seem too artificial. Like... polyester, instead of cotton.
With that thought, and the image of a kicker actually tackling someone, I leave any of you poor fools who actually read all of the above nonsense, to go to bed. Good night.
