htothehAm currently trying to avoid brains leaking out of ears; will need them for Latin test tomorrow. Have spent last hour with Tempest study guide and Wheelock, identifying ablative nouns and why they are ablative. I hate ablative nouns.
Got to demonstrate exactly how little I know of Latin after school. Apparently the other accelerated period does much better alone than we do. Will definitely study more; it at least did that. May, however, be too late. If I get less than a 93 on this test, I will never have to study for Latin for the rest of the year. Whoo hoo.
Yesterday, now, yesterday was great. Karma was on my side or something; I put another quart of oil in my engine at Walmart, and left the oil tank cap on the little ledge in front of my headlight. It stayed there almost all the way to Chris's house, and fell off only when I was making the turn into his subdivision. I had remembered that I forgot to put it back on slightly before this; he noticed it when we drove out. It was retrieved and replaced, and I was enormously relieved.
Karma, come back! I love you.... One more day? Just one more day to study for Latin? Please?
