htothehAlright, yes, I'm neglecting my blog. I'm sorry, blog. Deal with it.
Went to Davidson yesterday for Junior Day, my first official visit to a college. Went all right... there was some general stuff on researching colleges and so on, and a campus tour (of course), and an opportunity to talk with some students, without parents or administrators around. It seems like a pretty cool school--they have an Honor Code that means that tests are self-scheduled, so students can do them whenever they think they're ready, and turn them in, and there's a Ben & Jerry's right across the street from campus.
Not sure what I think of this whole college thing. Don't know if I'm ready for that much responsibility for myself; would probably end up blowing something up. Or forgetting to eat. [ETA: ahahahahahah.]
I wish that I had gotten onto the ball sooner with college research, but oh, well. Not much I can do about that now.
