It's funny. I don't really feel old enough to be working. Or being able to work in a month, at any rate. Sixteen used to seem so old. My babysitter was 16, for crying out loud! But now I don't feel old. I feel too young to be working. One of my favorite memories is sitting in my Dad's condo, thinking about the turn of the millenium in 2001. I think I was about nine. The biggest thing I thought about was that I would be twelve when the new millenium hit, and that seemed very far away. Things in the future are closer than they appear, apparently. Which is kind of a freaky thought; high school is almost half over, and it seems far too short. This can't have been a year and a half...
