Trevor's blog talks about how odd it was to think that someone else reads the same library books you do. I would like to point out that our library system only has one copy of The Man Who Was Thursday, thus ensuring that everyone who read it through the library had the same copy. Nitpicking aside, it's even odder when you find things that people left behind. Once I found some drawings in a library book. They were very good drawings, a couple of unicorns, one or two dragons. And there was a phone number on a sticky note. I considered calling it and asking the person on the other end if they knew who they could belong to, but decided against it. I still wonder if the pictures were missed. I also wonder about the people who found them after me, and what they thought of them. Seeing as how it was a fantasy book, they were likely viewed with approval, but one can never tell.
