Ahem.
Cars are very convienient places to be in when it rains. It's easier to watch the rain in them than it is from houses, and they're small, so you get all the lovely rainy noise. I was driving down Old Raleigh on the way home, and a huge bolt of lightning zinged across the sky, right in the place above the road where it wasn't blocked by trees at all. It was cool.
This is peaceful rain. It's not depressing or irritating at all. If only it didn't have to show up on the night of a lunar eclipse...
