htothehI finally figured out exactly what I was doing wrong with the template I was trying to make, but I can't seem to make it work right yet, so it won't be up today. Grr. I hate it when I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.
I went to see Matrix: Reloaded today. The action scenes were pretty cool--lots of explosions and such. The scene with many AgentElronds Smiths was a bit disappointing, but the requisite car chase was pretty nifty. It had motorcycles and lots of fire. Heheh...
Last night was a DSFBC meeting--finally! First, however, there was ultimate frisbee at Halifax. That was enormous amounts of fun, even though I got a couple of massive blisters on my big toes, thus rendering me unable to walk or drive comfortably. But my team won one of the games we played, and there were milkshakes afterwards, so yay. Book Club adjourned to Erica's house, where we talked a lot, and made dinner, and got eaten alive by small insects in the treehouse. It was still a very good night. I ended up spending the night at Erica's, having brought no extra clothing or a toothbrush. We didn't make brownies, as there was no chocolate of the requisite sort. All this means is that brownies will have to be made at a later date.
I was reminded once again that masks annoy me. A lot. See, I have a hard time seeing around them, so as far as I'm concerned, everyone is nice. Except apparently they aren't always, only I never see it. Naivety has its place, but I'm getting a little sick of having the social sense of a small lizard. Or a guy, as Trevor so kindly pointed out. I guess that's why there are Ericas in the world--to enlighten the poor ignorant Hannahs.
There was a lizard shedding its skin on Chris' porch railing this afternoon when we went to go pick Trevor up. It was very cool looking. I want a lizard now.
The random skippiness of this post is due entirely to the fact that I am tired, so I'm going to go away now. G'night.
