htothehToday was a Very Good Day. I got to sleep in, because I do sound board at the late service once a month, and I also got to drive myself in. Funfun. There was a PowerPoint presentation to go with the sermon, so I got to handle that. After, I was ambushed by the music director person, who asked me if I was coming to the Youth Praise Team thing. I hadn't remembered that such a thing existed, so I was taken a bit off-guard, but I went, as I have my own transportation, and it was kind of fun, even though there were only three people including me there.
Oh! Tangent on transportation. A truck has been purchased, a very nice one, apparently, and will be delivered on Tuesday. So the Saturn is now mine, or will be as soon as it's Tuesday. I'm excited.
Anywho....
Went to Lake Pine with Chris, which was a great deal of fun. We talked for one whole circuit, then parked at the next available bench. Which was three benches in. Guess benches are popular. The weather was absolutely perfect. I saw a cloud in the shape of Florida. Thought of the whenever: "I'm a hopeless romantic, so I can still hope."
The day is only marginally spoiled by the fact that APES is eeevil. I shall survive.
