htothehI really did have a reason for not being in school today, and it wasn't that I've contracted leprosy. Nor am I dead, nor have I contracted the plague that seems to be going around.
No, I was out so that I could do the work that was supposed to be finished three weeks ago.
Good new is, I did get some of it done. My Scarlet Letter essay is complete, and I'm now caught up with my Calculus homework. Unfortunately, I have 22 vocab words and two grammar quizzes in Latin for Monday, but we have to make sacrifices sometimes. I'm willing to memorize excessive amounts of Latin if it means that I'm not going to get a D in English.
I love my parents a lot, and I have no idea what I ever did to deserve them.
